Yearly, forever

Wellllllll…….Happy Birthday Coach Brady Hoke. Hoke played his college football at Ball State before beginning his coaching career. Making his way to Michigan in 1995 (replacing Les Miles on the staff) as a defensive ends coach, he became the defensive line coach in 1997 and in 2002 was promoted to Associate Head Coach, aka Lloyd’s #2. Taking over Ball State in 2008, he was MAC Coach of the Year in 2008 before heading to San Diego State, where he would be Mountain West Coach of the Year in 2010. After the dismissal of Rich Rodriguez as Michigan head coach in the wake of the 2011 Gator Bowl, Hoke was named the 19th head coach of the Michigan Wolverines on January 11, 2011. He would earn Big Ten Coach of the Year honors and a Sugar Bowl victory in his first season, as well as a long desired victory over Ohio State.
