I was recently on assignment in Rome and got my first firsthand glimpse of the Original Big House (OBH), the Colosseum. I’ll spare you the entire family album but here are a few shots of the OBH. I found a few similarities in the 2,000 year old structure with the recent renovations to Michigan Stadium:

And I thought this was cool. You might know that visitors to the OBH held a ticket that gave them a specific section and seat assignment inside the Colosseum. A few of the section numbers are still visible around the perimeter:
