Gerald Ford and the Summers of ‘32 and ‘33

A question from MVictors reader Tom K:

What did Gerald Ford [do] for employment during his summer vacations while attending the University of Michigan?

I know Gerald Ford had various ways of making money while attending school over his years at Michigan, including waiting tables at the medical school, selling his own blood, managing the fraternity house, etc.  But none of the sources (biographies and his own autobiography), and not the Bentley or the Ford Presidential Library have the answer to this question.  I’ve also tried with Betty Ford, but she wasn’t on the scene until much later.

Anyone know?

According to Wikipedia, Ford still has a brother alive, Richard Addison Ford (born 1924) — he was 11 years younger, but might be worth a try.
