An underrated aspect of winning the national championship is, ahem, purchasing a cavalcade of gear, lids, prints, and mementos. As a longtime and aged Michigan fan probably like you, some of the more print-heavy shirts and slogans don’t match my seasoned tastes. So I thought sharing a few of my favorites would be helpful, and I’ll note when/where I’ve purchased so far. Let’s go:
Rose Bowl, CFP Logo Michigan Quarter-Zip – Fanatics – [link]
Somewhat simple, subtle, says it all – pretty clutch if you want Rose Bowl gear, which is surprisingly hard to come by in light of the national title in Houston.?A little pricey but come on fella, take care of it.
The BET M lid, ’47 Brand – Fanatics [link]
I purchased three hats so far, this is probably the favorite. It has the national champions logo on the side, and of course the lettering up top. Most of all I trust 47 Brand for producing not only excellent hats, but also lids that fit oversized domes like mine.
The Scores, The Scores, The Scores – mgoblog store [link]
Having attended both of these epic playoff games this one hits me right in the feels.
Jordan Brand National Champions Hoodie – Fanatics [link]
Generally, the Nike/Jordan brand stuff doesn’t disappoint, and the somewhat subtle National Champions design on this one hit the mark with me. As of publishing this post, this is still on the way but I have a good feeling about it.?PRO TIP: Size up +1, if you typically wear a L (large) go for the XL.
Jordan Brand Locker Room/Podium hat – Fanatics [link]
Somewhat mandatory IMO, the podium hat that they passed out after the victory. Almost in a memorabilia class of product, just had to have one and ordered extra for the family.
Michigan Daily Front Page prints [link]
For prints for the basement or office, I’ve tended to go with the Daily offerings from Red Bubble, the third-party site that produces these beauties. I included my mock-ups of how I plan to lay these out. I can confirm they are suitable for framing but go to a high-quality frame shop if you want it done right (not Michael’s).
12 National Championships Maize Mug – M Den [link]
It’s big (for real coffee drinks, not like those dinky 12oz cups), and it’s historic with each national title represented. Anything you put in this mug tastes better. I own it.
College Football Playoff 2024 National Championship Game Clean Up Adjustable Hat – Fanatics [link]
I ordered this one BEFORE the national title game, thinking win or lose I’ll have something from the big day. And once again, it’s 47 Brand (fits big melons), old school, and pretty simple.
2023 National Champions Etched Rocks Glass – M Den [link]
Bourbon will be poured and consumed. Drinking from such a righteous chalice will make you feel like a winner and those who gaze upon you will see a suave and debonair badass. Your home will smell of rich mahogany. You will truly taste the sweet nectar of success.
Michigan 2024 CFP – College Football Playoff Nike Jordan Media Day Tech Fleece – eBay
You might pay a hefty penny, but don’t be afraid to scour eBay for after-market, team/event-issued items like this. A team-issued fleece used during media events.
Michigan Wolverines 2023 Exclusive National Championship Football – Nikco Sports [link]
Of the Righteous Championship display pigskins I’ve seen, this seems to be the best, and I love the detail of scores, logos, etc. Use code MVICTORS for $10 off. Two disclaimers: mine is still on the way at the time of this post, and, this company comped me for sending 2 tweets promoting their product. But, they didn’t pay me to share it here on my website, I just like the layout of how they did this. When I get it in my hands I’ll update this post to confirm its quality.
$499.99 – Harbaugh-autographed full-size Riddell Michigan football helmet – Fanatics [link]
OK, it’s $500. But hear me out. Full-size helmet. National Champions logo. Plenty of room for other coaches/players to sign if you have the means. Unclear on Harbaugh’s future, and when you’ll get a shot to get his signature. Might be worth a look, and might be worth more after-market than what you are paying here?.
