Some wins are more difficult than others, and this victory over Rutgers was more difficult than it needed to be. But a win is a win. This team needed a character-building victory in the worst way. Adversity can be debilitating or it can prove to be opportunistic. Michigan buckled, but they battled back and that was great to see! Now let’s talk about those victorious Wolverines:

Obviously, Maryland did not want to get trucked on the ground like Michigan did to Notre Dame last week and it showed Saturday in College Park. While Maryland threw everything, including eight defensive players and the proverbial kitchen sink at the Wolverines, Michigan was still able to score and win the game - that's all that matters right now.
